Sponsors: All academic team members will serve as advisor for a group of students from their team.
PRIME TIME our advisor-advisee program meets every morning from 7:45 - 8:20 in a relaxed environment with an assigned teacher and group of classmates. This group will build a relationship through fun activities that involve team work as well as individual challanges and activities.
The focus of PRIME TIME is to enable students to learn skills necessary for life that are not necessarily academic, i.e. conflict resolution, becoming responsible students and citizens, how to deal with difficult people, bullying, developing a greater understanding of self and others, interpersonal skills, and social responsibility.
A major goal of PRIME TIME is to provide all students the opportunity to know and be known well by at least one teacher who may serve as mentor advisor to them.
