Meet once a month after school
Requirements
- Students must have at least a "C" average for the past school year. Your guidance counselor must verify this.
- Student must turn in an application bearing parent's signature, two teacher signatures, and guidance counselor's signature with verification of grade average.
- Student must turn in petition bearing signatures of 25 students enrolled in the grade for which he/she is seeking office.
- Student must present a 2-3 minute campaign speech in assembly stating his/her qualifications and why he/she would like to be elected to the office.

Philosophy
The purpose of student council is to encourage school pride and spirit, develop and practice attitudes of good citizenship, promote harmonious relations throughout the school, provide a forum for student expression, and promote the general welfare of the school.
